Over the duration of the course, we will discuss and explore songwriting through lyrics, melody, harmony, musical form and structure. We will analyze the repertoire from musical masters, and workshop your own pieces in a group setting.

 

By the end of the course students will have solid understanding of the rudiments of songwriting. They will also complete and present an original composition to the class and family on the final evening class.
