Oleksandra is a violinist and composer with a
Master’s degree in Violin Performance and with additional education in
Composition. She is a music educator with over 10 years of experience
specializing in teaching violin, piano, theory and composition.
Oleksandra performs in Toronto as a member of
various music projects, bands, orchestras and solo performances. These include Tag
TV, TEDx, Glenn Gould Studio, Trinity-ST. Paul’s United Church, St. George’s United
Church, the Living Arts Centre, the Richmond Hill Centre for the Performing
Arts and the Markham Jazz Festival. She also composes and performs her own
music, including compositions for videos, short movies and music arrangements.
Oleksandra has also performed as a member of various
symphony orchestras and chamber ensembles with concert tours in Europe. As a
composer, she was awarded the laureate of the First International Pianists and
Composers Competition “Farbotony” and Young Composers International
Competition “Gradus ad Parnassum.” Her compositions were performed at
the Lviv International Contemporary Music Festival “Contrasts”, the
International Youth Music Forum and Youth Music Festival “Music of
Millennium.” Oleksandra’s additional field is song writing and recording.
