Anne holds a degree in Music from the University of Toronto. She has been both a pianist and a vocalist for more than 15 years, and has taught music for just as many. She has been a section leader in the University of Toronto Scarborough Concert Choir for 4 years, a class assistant for a university music course and a leader of multiple acapella groups. Anne has also participated in multiple singing competitions and had her debut as an operatic soloist with a professional opera company in 2016. As a teacher, Anne incorporates music theory and ear training exercises into her lessons, as she believes having a solid foundation in these areas can help further develop the musicianship of her students. A leader of multiple singing ensembles, Anne also has experience conducting group lessons. Growing up, music was always a huge part of Anne’s life. As a result, she understands the important role music can play in people’s lives and is passionate about teaching music to others so that they too may reap the benefits of creating music.
